The Siddhartha School is a non-profit, private institution, founded and directed locally in Stok, Ladakh, which receives no public funds. The US-based Siddhartha School Project is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated solely to raising the funds necessary to keep the school operating, growing and improving.

When you make a donation to Siddhartha School Project your money goes directly to Siddhartha School and its students. There are many ways you can help:

  One dollar a day (US$360/year) is all it takes to give a child an exemplary education, along with books, uniforms and basic medical care.

  Siddhartha School's most vital long-term need is to create financial security in an economically uncertain future. Currently the school depends almost entirely on donor contributions for its day-to-day expenses like staff salaries and bus fuel.
